Do they then go outside 'naked' or are they then kept inside for the winter? or does this in fact encourage more growth and thus improve the wool content? I am very interested.

Is it not inefficient to take away the nutrients which are in the leafs and spread extra fertilizer to compensate the loss?

Because we took 8 weeks instead of 6 for planting because of 10 rainy days, we are a little behind scedule. We ridge now around 270ha a day, but still this morning was left 2.300ha. Spraying goes well because of the cloudy weather and small rains. Yesterday I sprayed 1.002 ha potatoes with herbicide. So numbers are okay, now hope for a good growing season at our farm.
Would like to visit you when I'm back in Holland again.
Bye for now, Willem less
